Pistol Annies Leak Their Song From “The Hunger Games” Soundtrack: “Run Daddy Run”

The official release of “The Hunger Games” soundtrack is right around the corner and new songs keep surfacing ahead of the March 20th release of the album. Kind of nice when that happens! Pistol Annies have delighted us with their new song “Run Daddy Run”, which will be featured on the OST (Official Sound Track) of the highly anticipated film. In anticipation of the theatrical release of the movie, which is scheduled for March 23rd (the closer we get to the release, the longer the waiting time gets, how is that possible?), the lovely ladies from the Pistol Annies have decided to give us a morale booster in the form of their new song “Run Daddy Run”, which fits extremely well with the film’s more dangerous scenes. “Run Daddy Run” is actually the second major leak off the soundtrack this week. A few days back we got to hear Taylor Swift’s “Eyes Open”, and so far “The Hunger Games: Songs From District 12 and Beyond” soundtrack compilation sounds extremely good. But what is all the fuss around “The Hunger Games” you ask? Well, the movie is all about a post-apocalyptic world in which the youngsters have a “fight to the death” annual event. The books have been hugely successful since their release. Now, we don’t want to spoil it all for you, especially since the release date is so close, so just hang in there a little bit longer. Below you can listen to the songs that have already been premiered off “The Hunger Games: Songs From District 12 and Beyond”, including “Run Daddy Run” performed by Miranda Lambert and the Pistol Annies: Miranda Lambert – Run Daddy Run: Taylor Swift ft. The Civil Wars – Safe & Sound Arcade Fire Abraham’s Daughter Kid Cudi – The Ruler & The Killer
