50 Cent Lands A Starring Role In “The Pursuit”

Is it rapper slash actor, or is it the other way around? Seems like 50Cent is aiming to succeed in everything he does, including his acting career. Recently, Curtis Jackson (aka 50 Cent) has taken on the leading role is a movie produced by his and Randall Emmett’s production company, Cheetah Vision Films. At the rate he’s going, Curtis will soon have more film appearances than he does soundtrack contributions, and his transition from rapping to acting, was by far a difficult one. The new movie is titled “The Pursuit” and the plot is written by Matt Johnson. For those of you who are going to go watch it, you should know that the script brings us a “super team” composed of a police-man and a criminal, who gang-up in order to track down and catch a bank robber, each of them having their own reasons. Who do you think 50Cent is going to be? The hoodlum or the cop? Well, even though we know him as the bad guy, guess what? He’s actually playing the good guy here, namely, the cop. The filming will take place in Louisiana and they’re all set to start in February 2012. “The Pursuit” will be directed by Jesse Terrero, and as soon as we find out who else is going to be featured in the movie, we’ll let you know. So stay tuned and check back with us soon.
