“Hawaii Five-O” Official Soundtrack Release Date

For a TV series, “Hawaii Five-O” sure has a great round-up of artists performing songs for its official soundtrack album. CBS Records announced that they’ll be releasing a new, specially produced album containing the soundtrack of the successful show,”Hawaii Five-O”. The so called “Hawaii Five-0: Original Songs From The Television Series” will contain never before heard songs which will be available exclusively on this release, and it will feature contributions from artists such as: the Goo Goo Dolls, Bob Dylan or Train and many more. Apparently, the producers of this new album have listened to quite a lot of submitted tracks until deciding on the final cut, and according to them, the songs they chose are the ones which best fit the this season’s upcoming story plots. What’s really extraordinary about the soundtrack of the upcoming season of “Hawaii Five-O”, is the fact that some songs were never released, even if they were recorded years ago. Take Bob Dylan’s song, “Don’t Ever Take Yourself Away” for example, this tune was recorded two decades ago in the early 1980s, so it got a complete makeover and it was rebooted for the successful TV show. Apart from the new releases, the alum will also feature “Closer” performed by by Corinne Bailey Rae and “Hi’ilawe” sung by John Cruz from the first season of the show.
