Keith Urban Writes a New Song Titled “For You” Especially For The Soundtrack Of “Act Of Valor”

Well, did you hear the good news? Grammy Award winner Keith Urban has taken on the task to write a new song for the soundtrack of the upcoming action movie “Act Of Valor”. The artist teamed up with fellow legendary songwriter Monty Powell and the two co-wrote a new song titled “For You.” The country music superstar has already recorded the new song and it is going to be played as the credits roll at the end of the movie. Come to think of it, this is the first time that Keith Urban brings his skills to the big silver screen. And even though his beautiful wife Nicole Kidman is a famous movie star, “Act Of Valor” will mark the first musical collaboration that Keith has done for a film. Are you curious to know what’s all the commotion about this movie? Well, “Act Of Valor” may not be the first Navy SEAL thriller which tells the fictional story of search and rescue techniques, but it’s surely the first movie to ever use real, active-duty U.S. Naval SEALs instead ofHollywoodactors. When asked about the new song and how he wrote it, Keith declared that “After seeing Act Of Valor, my co-writer (Monty Powell) and I wanted to capture the essence of not only what these men and women do so extraordinarily, but how that relates to all of us. Valor shows us what they are willing to give their all for, which made me wonder, ‘What am I willing to give my life for?’ ‘For You’ is intended to allow the listener to define who that is for them.” These past couple of months have been quite exhausting for the country music superstar. First of all he  had to undergo throat surgery in November. After the surgery, Keith Urban had to go on complete vocal rest for a period of three months. Fortunately, he seems to be making a full recovery and he has already announced a series of concerts for 2012. If you wanna hear how Keith Urban’s new song “For You” turned out, you’re going to have to be just a little more patient, because “Act Of Valor” is set for release on February 24th, 2012.
