Vampire Diaries Official Soundtrack List

The soundtrack of the oh so popular TV show, features some pretty big names from the music industry, and guess what (not that it comes as a surprise to anyone) all of the songs are thematically or lyrically tied to the vampiric plot of the series. The Smashing Pumpkins drop in to lend a song titled “The Fellowship”. The guys are no strangers when it comes to vampire themes, their previous release, “Bullet With Butterfly Wings” speaks about vampires in at least a part of the lyrics. “Running Up That Hill” is performed on the show by Placebo thus adding a little bit of veteran spice to the “Vampire Diaries” soundtrack songs. Gorillaz also chipped in with a song. And even though they’re a completely imaginary band, they’re no strangers to spooky scenarios… all you have to do is watch either of their videos, and you’ll agree with us on this one.
