The Soundtrack For “Walk in the Dark Has Been Released Along With The Artwork

Flying Turtle is bringing us a new 2012 game, and it’s gonna be a great one! Not only is “Walk in the Dark” one of the cutest platform games that will be on the market, but it also comes with an amazing soundtrack. The soundtrack has finally been released, and after listening to it, you’ll come to the conclusion that there are times the soundtrack can either make or break the game. In the case of  “Walk in the Dark”, the piano driven tracks are simply mesmerizing. Now we all know that sometimes the game developers will praise their projects (marketing hype), in spite of the little downsides in what they have developed. But as far as “Walk in the Dark” is concerned, when the developer declared that “We believe that music is the key for evoking emotions. We wanted our game music to have a cinematic feeling, to feel mysterious and give depth to the world”, they really meant what they were saying. All of the 11 tracks included on the official soundtracks are a perfect blend of magical piano notes, and the composer’s emotions. Unfortunately, if you were thinking that the game will be released pretty soon, we have some pretty sad news. “Walk in the Dark” will not be officially released until the fourth quarter of 2012. Now that may mean we’ll be able to buy it this summer or at the beginning of autumn (I really hope they release it sooner!). If you’re wondering what “Walk in the Dark” is all about, here is a little heads up. First of all you should know that in the game, you’ll be playing a black cat named Bast who has to face strange creatures and deadly traps. And the entire action takes place in a mystical, fantasy world that should draw you in and give you hours of enjoyment. And to be quite frank, the soundtrack couldn’t have been chosen better. The piano chords used throughout just add to the suspense and mystery of the entire game. We’ve got to give kudos to Cody Cook who created this amazing soundtrack. He has managed to create that special feeling that you’re not just playing a game, you’re embarking on an adventure!
